The Friends of the Columbia Gorge advocate for health and sustainability of an area which means so much to those in the PacNW. As a non-profit, Friends' relied on cost-effective industry tools to manage donations and fees. However, in an effort to save cost on solutions, Friends' online order processes took users across a confusing, multistep journey. The organization was in need of a more streamlined process for both it's users and staff.


the result.

By identifying user personas and content goals, we were able to simplify the navigation and make customizations to an otherwise templatized design in order to better align the UX with their fundraising goals. We also reduced the number of external solutions from 5 to 2 by mapping integrations with more flexible tools fit for non-profits.
